Join us on a musical journey to the spirituality of the Muslim and Christian worlds. American singer and lute player Joel Frederiksen returns to the festival after many years to introduce the festival to Syrian singer and oud player Rebal Alkodari and join him in singing songs in their respective religious traditions. It is a wonder how much is stored in the sacred books and songs of both religions in terms of parallel and shared stories. Experience with us this special encounter of continents and cultures, which shows us that despite all the differences, we live in the same world of people with the same existential questions. Especially in a time plagued by religious conflicts, fundamentalist violence and refugee crises, this is a doubly important message. The mystical evening is also a festival premiere in the special milieu of the former Neo-Renaissance emperor's spa - today the seat of the Liberec Regional Gallery.
